Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born the 16th of April, 1996, in Miami Florida. Her mother is English, one-half Spanish. The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy was born into a household of six children. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she did not study English, hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in the drama department. After 16 she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her to be an experienced model.
