Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who was the country's love interest after winning the American Idol title in the initial season of the show. This win did more than propel her to fame, but also earned her a multi-album recording contract in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. From those, three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to the top spot. She has been one of the most popular performers on American Idol. To achieve her success she played around with various music styles and experimented on themes. With her distinct voice and unique ability, she was awarded praise from the public as well as various prizes. She has been awarded Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award 3 times. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also seen on TV and in film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby, a children's story she wrote for her daughter.
